Re: KB943460 blocks shockwave player

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I am using IE6 with WinXP SP2. Using the same versions of the Adobe products
that you mention.
Our anti-virus is Trend Micro Office Scan.
While debugging, I did try disabling the anti-virus to no avail.
No spyware.
On an enterprise VPN connection.

I've got Shockwave Player v11.0.0.0
(http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi; released earlier this
week) and Flash Player v9.0.115.0 installed here.

If no joy: What anti-virus application or security suite is installed? What
anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What third-party firewall
(if any)?

Once KB943460 was installed, .swf files wouldn't play anymore. I got a
blank white screen. As soon as I uninstalled the patch, they played fine.
I have been able to repeat on other machines.
