Whats the scoop.
"Your"? This is a public newsgroup - and although I cannot speak for
everyone here - I personally have never released an SP1 for Windows Vista.
Read this article:
http://windowsvistablog.com/blogs/windowsvista/archive/2008/03/18/windows-vista-sp1-released-to-windows-update.aspx
Perhaps this link from that:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=948343#method5
Where it states:
"To help ensure a positive update experience, Windows Update will
temporarily not offer Windows Vista SP1 to systems that have the following
device drivers." Did you download the stand-alone?
Have you gone through this article (also linked to from the above article):
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948187
Does Realtek or the motherboard manufacturer have any help available? (In
other words - the people who actually created the hardware in question...)
