Re: Windows update is not offering me sp1

ok seems this is a problem on dell computers and some gateway.
It also seems sigma tel has no update for this as of now

I went into the dell forum and found others with the same problem and saw a
post stating dell is working on fixing this

also i checked the list from kb948343 and i checked the sigma Tel audio
driver and when clicking on
"update driver" windows comes back and tells me I am up to date which is
strange because i have version
6.1.0.5343

and it states there that version 6.10.5511.0 or earlier needs an update.

that is the only one i have on the list for audio drivers
for display drivers
i have none of the ones listed
I have the visionTek radeon x1300 which I just updated a few mths ago and
windows says this is up to date too.

So how come windows sp1 is then not showing up in WU
In fact today I was asked in WU to do a Office Excel Security update so I
know the WU is working

I am up to date in all security patches.
windows is not offereing me driver updates
Is there a way to get vista to show me what driver updates i need for
sp1?
or got any suggestions how i find out?
