System Center Essentials vs System Center Operations Manager + WSUS

tried to find an appropriate group, but with no luck, so I stayed here.

So, is System Center Essentials a lite version of System Center Operations Manager?
Is it possible to integrate wsus into System Center Operations Manager, or should I install System Center Operations Manager and System Center Essentials?
