RE: Update can't work behind Linksys wireless router. Direct to AD

Thanks. Lots of info. Going through. I suspect it may not due to pc
settings as t is fine when connected directly o the adsl model. Hit problem
if I have the Linksys wireless router between the modem and my pc. Maybe
some forwarding thingy that I need to set on the router.

Got some more info from the log file.

Do any other websites not work (like Yahoo! mail or Hotmail)? If so, you
might have an MTU issue on your PC and/or router. Even if all other sites
work, the tool below is worth looking into if you've already done the easy
(and not so easy) stuff.

Go to http://www.dslreports.com/tools and poke around, there is a lot of
good stuff there. For your specific issue, see Dr. TCP
(http://www.dslreports.com/faq/578) on how to test and set your MTU.

Hi, any idea on the above ? Linksys wrt54g is a popular wireless router.
What settings I should watch for ? The ADSL modem with Linksys wireless
router works fine for all except Windows Update.

Pls help.

Thks.
