I tried System File Checker, but when i run
sfc /scannow
i got this message after few second (i have not EN version of Windows, so i
ll try to translate):
"Starting system check. This may take a while.

There is a waiting reparation of system which need new system start to be
finished. Restart the system and run sfc again."

So i restarted, run it again and got same message. I did it three times
always with same result. I dont think this is the way how sfc works.

In cbs.log there are no lines maked with [SR]

cbs.log and cbs.persist.log are quite big (52MB) so i ll paste few lines
before and after error lines.
First three blocks are from that day WU stop worked. Last two are from today.

CSI does not support multple concurrent writes by design

OK, now we've at least have a log to check out. CSI is related to
Component Based Servicing. If you dare, open the CBS.log located in
%windir%\logs\CBS\cbs.log
I haven't seen that many logs of this type but the ones I have seen can
grow sizeably when there are repeated update installation failures.
One, to 15 MBs in 2 days. [ easy to say, hard to type <w> ]

As in Win XP, there appears to be corrupted data in the %windir%\SxS
subfolders that is preventing the update from installing.

Perhaps running the System File Checker might alleviate this issue ? :
