I would suggest updating both.
Look at the bulletin for that update and see what it does:

Also research the differences between between the older and new version of Adobe Reader paying particular to any security changes if any.
Then make an informed decision for your organization.

I found that Security Update for Windows XP (KB933729) is causing the problem.
As I have mentioned when updated PCs got the upgraded version of Acrobat
Reader 7 the problem was solved.
what is your suggestion? shall we remove the update or we should upgrade the
version of Acrobat as suggested earlier?
and did anyone face any problem with this specific update?
Please advise ASAP.
