How to install on XP

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

I have downloaded a whole load of updates for XP from the windows
Update Catalog. I see them in my download folder on my computer and
was wondering how to 'deploy' them to a few machines.
Surely i don't have to go into every folder and run them on each
machine do I?
If that is the case then i may as well run automatic updates.... it
seems a lot easier to me......
