I'm not sure if anyone here can answer the Nvidia or the Sound
ones, but If anyone could point me into the right direction to get
help on any of these I'd really appreciate it.
1) Download and install all HARDWARE drivers such as this from the hardware
manufacturer web page - and if everything is working as you expect - there
is no real need to upgrade your hardware drivers in the first place.
2) Windows Defender... I recommend uninstalling it. If you feel that is
your antispyware solution of choice - reboot and install it again from a
fresh download and see if that fixes your issues with it.
3) Another hardware driver - get those straight from the manufacturer's
support web pages - after all - Microsoft did not create the hardware or the
driver - best to get the latest from those who made both if you feel you
need them.
4) Same as 1,3...
5) Same as 1,3,4...
