Problem Installing MS Updates
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
I've been fighting this problem for a while. I can't install MS
updates, either manual or automatic. I found Windows Installer missing
from my Systems folder. The path to msiexec.exe is
C:\Windows\System32. But the path in the registry is C:\WINNT\System
32. Should I change the registry from WINNT to WINDOWS? I'm running
Windows XP SP2 on a HP Media Center Desktop. Thanks
.
