Your tip perfect! Shield gone. Must I uninstall .net Framework 1.1 listed
in Add/Remove Programs and download again as other posts indicate? And,
should I disable firewall/anti virus when doing so. Ya done good! Much
appreciated. I'm very pleased.

What applications did you disable, ***?

Is Windows Update offering you any (more) critical security updates?
