Doubtful. WU/MU/AU almost always correctly determines the correct file
version of a needed update during preliminary scanning...IF the
"protections" of installed applications don't screw things up (e.g., Norton,
McAfee, ZA).
There are fourteen (14) versions of 933566 for three (3) versions of IE
running in eight (8) currently-supported Windows versions.
If a user chooses to update via picking & choosing then downloading the
wrong version from MS Download Center, he gets what he's paying for. (In
almost every case, the incorrect version will fail to install.)

not the same.
There is something odd about this particular KB - Same # but notice the
difference.
