Re: KB927891 now on Windows Update

Freudi answered your questions, but I have one for you: When you say you "couldn't get online", do you mean you couldn't open Internet Explorer or you can open IE but it won't connect?

Hi PA Bear.... nope but that is the issue... So, just so I'm clear.. I don't
need this update, but if I install it, then when do I run the "type: netsh
winsock reset "

Example: Turn off McAfee, install KB927891, reboot. Cmd "type: netsh
winsock reset " reboot, or do I not have to reboot twice?

then
rebooted and closed my McAfee and installed and rebooted, but I still
cannot
get online with KB927891 installed

What can I do?

Yup, and there's a version of KB927891 for Windows 2000 now too,
available at least via DownloadCenter:
