You probably did not indstall all the needed drivers.

Your drivers should come or on a driver cd with your laptop, might be they
are on the restore partition.

If you really can not find them after a proper search give the laptop brand
and type here than I will try to help you out.

yeah, i just activated my labtop.....i guess its windows XP, but for some
reason it won't let me enable my sound device...do anybody kno wat the
problem is, if you do can you please give me a solution to solve my
problem.
