| With respect to updates, I used to have Windows "notify me but don't
| automatically download or install them." However around February 7 or 8, the
| setting was somehow changed to "Automatic (recommended)." I don't know how
| the change came about and when I went to System/Automatic Updates I found
| that the "Automatic (recommended)" button was selected and all the settings
| are dimmed out so I can't make a change. On February 6, I downloaded the
| update KB923980 so I don't know if this had anything to do with it. Can
| anyone help me out? I want to have the ability to change it back to "notify
| me but don't automatically download or install them."
