| When I go to the link provide I get a message stating "Administrators only"
| To install items from Windows Update, you must be logged on as an
| administrator or a member of the Administrators group
|
| There is only one user on my PC, me and I am an administrator. When I follow
| the instructions the only user in the dropdown list is me. When I select
| that option with no password I get an error message ..blank passwords not
| allowed... I have not set any passwords up so I cannot enter any. The other
| link to kb/323166 the Method 1 takes me to the same web site with the same
| message. Method 2 talks about Click Personalize Windows Update. I cannot see
| this link on this page.
|
| When I go to the normal windows update web site
| http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us
| and click on use administrator options I get to the same page as your link
| with the same administrators option.
|
| Any ideas?
|
| Thanks.
