Re: svchost.exe Application Error

We're getting the same problem on 4 machines. Windows Update ran this morning with about 8 updates. Three failed on all 4 PCs due to apps already running (mainly Outlook 2003). The three that failed were Outlook 2003 junk filter update, MSXML 4.0 SP2 and one other I didn't catch :-)

Each machine now tries to run WinUpdate again on restart, and svchost.exe throws a fault (as below - same instruction) almost immediately, locking the PC up; can't even open taskmanager, so I assume it's doing 100%!

Any ideas on how to fix this?
