Then, when they complain that some of their software doesn't work you can go
back in and uninstall IE7 (as part of the automatic updates) because it has
a known conflict with some vertical software on the market that is out
there. A company I deal with has specifically stated that IE7 won't work on
their remote access software.

Based upon Windows Update, I have started to compile a list and some
workstations are missing as many as 65 updates. There is a lot of
overlap
but so far I think my list has about 80 entries.

My question is whether there is a WEB site where I can check which
updates are actually necessary, safe, interact well with each other,
the
sequence of installation, etc?

I realize that I can search for a specific update's KB number and read
comments. However, there are 80 so far. In addition, my search probably

will not indicate the sequence of the updates and whether certain
updates
interact well with others.

Thank you in advance.
