Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I'm having the exact same problem... I hope we'll find a solution
sometime. My computer becomes REALLY slow while
downloading/redownloading/installing/reinstalling these updates - each
time unsuccessfully (I never had trouble with earlier updates!!), so
I've decided to stop trying to get it to work for the time being...
