While all malware is bad software, not all bad software is malware.
You are aware of the Windows haters. They could simply plug in
"Windows" for Symantec in your statement, substituting "computer"
for "Windows OS." Still, I don't think they'd say it was malware.

The only purpose of Symantec "products" is to take money from
unsuspecting Users. It's so-called protection is laughable.
The drag it puts on a system shows that it's not designed for any
Windows OS.

Installing *any* Symantec "product" is the same as installing malware :
