The only purpose of Symantec "products" is to take money from unsuspecting Users. It's so-called protection is laughable.
The drag it puts on a system shows that it's not designed for any Windows OS.

As long as one doesn't have to do
Step 3 : Reinstall your Norton or Symantec products
then the advice is good.
Installing *any* Symantec "product" is the same as installing malware :

I have full permissions to the registry keys and still receive the error.
Have tried every suggestion on the board for over a month. 3.1 will simply
