Why does Security Update for Windows XP (KB835732) keep installing on my
machine. I just installed XP pro on this machine (last night) and so far i
keep having to install it over and over (each install is successful). What
is going on with this???

My 2nd question is, how do I turn on the option to download and install ALL
of the priority updates without my having to click either the "Express" or
'Custom" buttons? at this rate i am never going to complete updating this
computer.


On that same dialog there should be a button for settings. Try it?
(I don't have an AU icon in my notification area to experiment with now.)
Otherwise just Run... (e.g. press Win-R) and enter

control wuaucpl.cpl

to see the same thing. The option you may want to try on that control panel
applet is Automatic (u) instead of either of the other choices which you
appear to be using now.
