Re: Security Warning after recent updating

I assumed that it was 918899. Numerous posters reported the same phenomenon.
You can access the TIF folder through Windows Explorer. But if you use a
shortcut, you get the message that "This page contains an unspecified
security flaw."

Do you mean the TIF folders located in Documents & Settings? If so, I
can open them with no warnings. And I think I've got all the updates
installed.

What was the KB or MSO number of the update that seems to have caused
the security warning?

Awaiting your responses with baited breath, I remain, yours truly,

Many Thanks for informing me about this "new" feature. Seems to me a bit
overdone to prevent people to open the TIFs. Is everyone with Windows XP
having this "facility"? Can you turn this OFF? Hope so. Jos

When I try to open the desktoplink to the folder Tempory Internet Files

get
the following security warning from Internet Explorer: "This page has a
unknown possible security fault. Do you want to continue? Yes or No.
I can not find the course of this warning. When I set the computer to a
former
recovery point the warning is gone. Automatic Windows Update brings the
warning back.
What to do? Can anyone help me? Jos
