Helping is kind of difficult if you do not anwer any questions or provide
detailled information.

Do you have a Nforce 3 or 4 based mainboard in your PC and if yes did you
install all the drivers from the mainboard cd rom?

Everything I try downloading is corupt. I thought I should reinstall
windows,
so I did, and now everything is nice and clean again, except that the
problem
still persists- I can't download anything. The updates all fail, the
anti-virus stuff I download fails. My Trillian fails. Everything is
