Then the windows agent schedules these updates to be installed in a
day or two. How can I stop this from happening?

If this server is running on-line applications (which might be locking some
components that require update), try shutting down IIS and those
applications, and then running Windows Update manually.

Re 908981 - what version of Front Page Server are you running on this
server? Was it the special version that shipped with Server 2003, or are
you running a downlevel version? You might try the Server 2003 version if
not already in use.
