On shut down it will freeze, and I have to press
the "Reset" button on the Computer it will restart
and then it will shut down.

Can you try allowing it a LONG time to shutdown - e.g. 10 to 15 minutes, to see if it finally succeeds.

Please disconnect any network connections you have made before attemtping the shutdown.

Hello Robin,

Thank You very much for Your Advice.

A couple of day ago I have
restored my System to a date before the Updates install.
And now the Computer shuts down as before, in less than 30 seconds.

Reason for Posting is:
I still have Microsoft's Security (Shield Icon) in my Desktop tray
waiting for the Updates to be reinstalled, my Computer Store Tech.,
advised me to install one Update @ the time and see which one
is causing the problem, this is very good Idea.
By my experience from previous Updates installs,
if I will install one @ the time I cannot see them listed
on the Add/Remove screen till all of them are installed.
This happened to me while ago, I don't know if by now it has changed.

My System is working perfect as of today, I am a bit scared
to carry out experiments.

If anyone could tell witch one Update from the above is causing
the problem, I would leave it out and install the rest.

Do You have any safe Suggestions?
Thanks, x@y
