Is there any description of what apps are covered by Microsoft Update?
The main page just says "Windows, Office and other Microsoft
applications."
Currently Office XP(2002), Office 2003, SQL Server, Windows Defender
definitions. Might be more in future.
Also, WU gives you options to (1) auto update, (2) auto download and
manually choose to update, or (3) notify only, so you can select
updates to download and install. Does MS Update give you the same
choices?
Yes.
