What a hellacious mess. Never seen so much frustration or anger
been vented. Customers are accusing vendors of selling pirated
copies of XP or service techs of ruining their OS's; the pros
are screaming at their distributors and threatening suits. It is
going to have to end pretty soon or we are never going to make it
to Vista. Good motive but very poorly implemented. Microsoft needs
to suck it up and apologize just like Intel did when it foisted the
Pentium Serial Number on its unsuspecting clientele.
