Re: not correct XP Pro OS

Sounds like your missing a step or something isn't working correctly, try
using this method.

Thanks for the reply Dave,
I realize that I will have to enter a Key # if I ever can get Slipstream
to
make a OS / SP2 CD.

So far all I have is 4 Slipstream copies of SP2
Slipstream is reading my xp pro cd as well as the sp2 cd t5hen saves a iso
image to the HD. When I burn the image (posted instructions for Nero 6) I
get
another SP2 copy?

You don't enter your product key when doing the slipstream, you key is
not
stored on the install CD, you enter the key when you use the new CD to do
a
repair install.

Using Slipstream, I entered the XP Pro disk, next entered the SP2 CD
then
saved the file [stream.iso] to the HD
Next I burned that file to a CD and got another copy of SP2?

I was expecting something to enter my correct Win XP Pro Product Key #

What did I not do?

It appears your version of Windows XP Pro
does not include SP2. To resolve this issue,
you can easily make a new Windows XP Pro
CD with SP2 slipstreamed in, then perform
the repair install.

Either one of the following utilities makes slipstreaming
(integrating) SP2 into Windows XP a breeze:
