IE7 Beta2 is not in the list of Affected Components here: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms06-013.mspx
Best to rely on Windows Update for updates/patches the machine should have, instead of trying to pick & choose ones you /think/ it needs.
Beta testers of IE7 Public Preview are asked to post their comments to microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general newsgroup.
