|I am receiving error 0x80070005 when trying to run windows update.
| I ran http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 first, and returned to
| Windows Update & still receive error 0x80070005
|
| In the log it shows:
| Failed to stop service wuauserv, error = 0x80070005
|
| I am running the Update in Safe Mode, so I don't think wuauserv is even
| running. I couldn't see it in Task Manager. Is there a way to shut it down?
|
| Any ideas? Thank you, Nakai
