It's a sham(e) M$ can't even get that right.......

M$ description states......
How to uninstall Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications.
You can uninstall Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications by using
Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel.

The above does NOT work.
You get the message "This update cannot be uninstalled"

System restore to earlier point does work.

NOTE
As this update fails some genuine copies of XP, I strongly suggest
people turn off automatic updates & then manualy install updates only
once other guinea pigs have tested the said updates and found that
they don't cause problems.

The recent KB90831 update caused major grief (and is still doing so)
for many users.
Clearly M$ did not properly test this update prior to release.

M$ should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
Better still, they should be sued for all customer losses incurred as
a direct result of releasing such utter crap.

With all the bull recently at M/S, M/S must have a new batch of programmers
stright out of school, or maybe this is nepotism at its finest.
