What about this one?

Hm, I tend to advise you to download KB896688 for Windows XP SP2
again but this time via DownloadCenter:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=41CCCA21-5010-49FF-A2DD-CB365F6FD3C5

Safe the WindowsXP-KB896688-x86-ENU.exe file to a folder on the
harddisk, do *NOT* let it execute!

After you've saved the file to -let's say- c:\Downloads type the
following in "Run" in the startmenu:
C:\Downloads\WindowsXP-KB896688-x86-ENU.exe /x
Hit OK or the [Enter] key afterwards. You'll be asked for folder
you want to extract the content of the EXE into. Choose i.e.
C:\Downloads\KB896688

Now, after the extraction successfully completed, first check
whether the file properties of the cdfview.dll to be found in
the C:\Downloads\KB896688\sp2gdr folder displays properly and
faster. If not, stop here.

If the file properties display in a normal manner, copy that
cdfview.dll into the \Windows\System32\dllcache folder.
Afterwards rename the cdfview.dll to be found in the system32
folder to i.e. "cdfview.old". Windows should copy the cdfview.dll
from the DLLCACHE folder into the system32 folder afterwards. If
not, copy it manually in there.

Check again, whether the file properties displays normally. If
yes, try installing KB905915 again.

Nope, leave it alone.

These are general warnings you see whenever you've installed a
patch making use of the update.exe mechanism and you've installed
any patch or software afterwards. You're almost save to ignore the
warning.

Yes.

Bye,
Freudi
