Ehm, pardon me, but would you mind trying it again with NAV and
Sygate's Firewall *uninstalled* and the Windows Firewall activated?

That's very strange anyway and only a firewall and/or NAV rule/
restriction comes in my mind beeing the culprit for the problems
you ran into.
KB905915 contains the following files and versions:
browseui.dll (6.0.2900.2802 - 24.11.2005)
cdfview.dll (6.0.2900.2781 - 21.10.2005)
danim.dll (6.3.1.148 - 05.11.2005)
dxtrans.dll (6.3.2900.2781 - 21.10.2005)
extmgr.dll (6.0.2900.2781 - 21.10.2005)
iedw.exe (5.1.2600.2781 - 21.10.2005)
iepeers.dll (6.0.2900.2781 - 21.10.2005)
inseng.dll (6.0.2900.2781 - 21.10.2005)
mshtml.dll (6.0.2900.2802 - 24.11.2005)
mshtmled.dll (6.0.2900.2781 - 21.10.2005)
msrating.dll (6.0.2900.2781 - 21.10.2005)
mstime.dll (6.0.2900.2781 - 21.10.2005)
pngfilt.dll (6.0.2900.2781 - 21.10.2005)
shdocvw.dll (6.0.2900.2805 - 01.12.2005)
shlwapi.dll (6.0.2900.2781 - 21.10.2005)
urlmon.dll (6.0.2900.2790 - 05.11.2005)
wininet.dll (6.0.2900.2781 - 21.10.2005)
And KB910437 only one relevant file (esent.dll (5.1.2600.2780 -
20.10.2005)).
None of them seem to be a possible culprit for USB transfer delays.
While KB910437 is an optional, not really security related update,
KB905915 is a really important security update for IE/Windows.
If you don't want to try the "big solution" with NAV and Sysgate's
Personal Firewall software (temporarily) uninstalled, please give
uninstalling KB910437 and installing KB905915 a chance. I'm really
curious if that would help increasing the transfer speed once again.
Bye,
Freudi
