Re: Windows updates (criticals) Administrative problems after inst

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Best thing for a short-run fix is to uninstall update KB905915.......or
KB896688. (add/remove programs)

Then call Microsoft again as suggested. They are basically not writing
proper code for these updates....especially for Windows 98 and SE. This has
been going on way too long and it's on our backs!

Called Microsoft and was told it was my computer and not their update, and I
would have to pay $35.00 a question.. I refused to pay as my comp was fine
until after the install.. I was then told that I would probably have to
redo
my whole computer including windows as Micosoft could not legally tell me
how
to get the administrative password.. I DONT HAVE ONE... They put me on hold
and I hung up after an hour...
