Windows Updates + Norton Internet Security 2005

I run I/T for a small organization, and I recently encountered a weird
problem on one of my co-worker's machines (running Windows XP Pro).
When I install the most recent updates from Microsoft, Outlook becomes
non-responsive, and MS Word fails to start. If I run System Restore and
restore to a point yesterday, Outlook and Word begin to work properly
again.

The only strange thing I've noticed about the system is that there are
four or five instances of NavW32.exe running. I have noticed problems
with Norton Internet Security in the past, and would like to blame this
product for causing the problems, but I am also running the same
configuration on my personal machine and am experiencing no problems.

Is anyone else experiencing problems with the most recent Windows
Updates?

Thanks,
Chris
