Absolutely........I've been through many e-mails with tech support and
several phone calls with 2nd tier support as well. I also have tried their
stand alone installer for KB896688 for windows 98. If there is something in
my Registry that is causing this problem than one would think we could find
it. Meanwhile I'm running an insecure IE6 Browser.

already exists on your system.
Out of curiosity, since there are five or six different packages for
KB896688,
depending on the version of IE and the operating system platform
installed --
are you positive that you're installing the correct version of the update?
