Well Pa Bear, all I can say is that if you believe that the problem is not
caused by KB896688, then why is it when I uninstall it, the problem goes
away?
But if, indeed, if, as you calim the problem is not caused by KB 896688,
then how can the REAL CAUSE be determined ? Really, I am much less
interested in ragging about Microsoft than I am in finding a SOLUTION!

MS extended Support twice already, Marcus.
Guus is /not/ running Win98.
I continue to believe /your/ problems are not being caused by 896688.
