Re: KB896688 fix via regedit

Freudi, i religiously went thru the methods in that url,
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822798; I even went back and did #7 where i
could not find the extract keys before [ i dld the update into a folder, did
a simple extraction but there was no .cat file; i took the certificate from
the parent .ENU.exe file itself; still no luck with installation].
I have no problems from rootkits - i can see from the autoupdate pgm check
log that all wuau files required are visible and correct version. I have run
a rootkit trojan check - zero found. I did try with my AV completely
uninstalled, no luck. So i dunno.... just cos i can, here is a log hot from
