Re: "classical" Win XP personal edition on 64-bit personal computer

The trial upgrade to 64 bits program ended last summer.
It is better in any case to dual boot - see Barb Bowman's
"Upgrading an AMD64 Turion Laptop to Windows XP x64 Edition"
which is the second article listed in this search link:

http://search.microsoft.com/search/results.aspx?View=en-us&p=1&c=2&st=b&qu=32+to+64+bit+Windows+upgrade&swc=2&na=33&cm=512

You would be better off using a newsreader rather than the
web interface to view the group Carey suggested (recommended!)
and this link to a message in that group about where to buy
system builder 64bit XP should open in your newsreader if
you copy the link and paste it in IE's address window:

As a system builder, you would be the support provider for
Windows according to item 8 of the OEM system builder license.
