Re: Reinstalling current version of XP Pro with legal Product Key

Thanks for the explantion, it kind of make sense to me. But for practical
purpose, when I want to obtain upgrades and fixes from Microsoft Update, will
having the OEM Product Key tell Microsoft Update that I own a unique license
of XP Pro even though it's from Dell, and will let be get the updates?

If not, can I get a copy of XP Pro Full Version on eBay (see at
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7193585482&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1)
, and will this license make it all legal in the eys of Microsoft?

Thanks, Kerry.
