>From the update page? Did you click Start > Programs > Games? Are the games
listed in there? If not then what did you download? Could they have been
just updates to the game?
Oddly - a bit of history for you or urban legend perhaps - it's been said
that the development of games is due to a desire to test the OS in various
ways from mathmatical computations (generation of a random number) to
graphics abilities. I have no idea how true that is or not but it makes a
great deal of sense as the games are generally not "that good" but all use
some sort of basic computational figures such as random.
