RE: Windows Automatic updates have been failing

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Yuo are right - actually it's only 14. And I finally eked out the salient
(apparently) error number too, which is 0x80246008, which, a MS tech
explained to me is probably a currupted BITS. She sent me step-by-step
directions, and I actually got to Step 2.4 in her response. I pasted a long
line into the CMD line and hit run, and it returned a "this already exists:
repleace it? (Y/N)" and I am waiting for her to write me back (over a day
now) with the answer.

ROFL. Ah well. We'll see what is in store should she reply.

Thanks!
