I can appreciate Roberts advice. Most of this onfo applies to WinXP. Believe
me, i spent a MONTH with Micorsoft trying to get the new version of Update
to work with my PC runnung Win2K...including each and every one of the
suggestions in the link he provided....and about 2 dozen others. This
happened before I replaced my HD and reinstalled the OS and after with a NEW
hd and fresh install of Win2k.
Dawn....did you try the link i gave to access Windows Update version 4???
Where version 6 hangs, vewsion 4 works just fine.
