Re: Update for Windows XP (KB896344) - Error Code: 0x8007F0EA



All you need to do is go into your windows\system32 folder and find the file
xpsp3res.dll file and add a .bak at the end of it. Now try running windows
update and it should update fine and add a new xpsp3res.dll file to your
windows\system32 folder.
