Error Code: 0x80246008

Yes, I know this message appears often.

I've gone through many solutions posted on this board and none of them work.

I belive I may have accidentitally deleted BITS when removing what I thought
was a Virus from the system registry.

I've gone into Services to try to activate BITS, but its not there. I went
into the registry as recommended by some fixes, and added it to the startup.

I've even done the following
-----------
Try the following, which was provided by Narayana Mahankali [MSFT] in an
October 2004 thread regarding the same service-specific error code:

Open a command prompt window, and key in (or copy/paste):
rd /q /s "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader"
hit ENTER

Now key in:
net start BITS
and hit ENTER

which i found by following the links in a post with the same error problem.
But when I did that the command prompt said "the system cannot find the file
specified"

this leads me to fear that I've deteleted it like a moron.

Is there a direct download I can utalize to download and install BITS back
unto my system? Or perhaps the error is elsewhere?
