Windows Update Error Message

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I've gone to Windows Update to do it manually this morning and I keep getting
and error message 0x80245003. It's never happened before.
I do have the computer on Automatic Updates -- but sometimes I go to it
myself.
I have WindowsXP Home Edition with the Service Pack 2 installed.
