Re: continuous rebooting of computer

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi,

If you can't hit the DEL key upon rebooting to go into BIOS then I would say
that you haven't got an O/S issue. In other words it sounds like there is an
issue hardware wise with the pc before it gets to the point of loading
windows. I have had that before with a faulty reset connector on a
motherboard, so I just removed the reset connector from the motherboard pins
entirely and yep the pc stopped rebooting.

Sounds like a big coincidence if it happens around the time of your windows
updates though hey? Stranger things have happened, but it is worth a look.

I hope that helps some...

Cheers,
Trevor.
