I was asked to update a few computers in my friends office today. They are
all running windows XP Home edition. They have never been updated. So I was
updating a few of them at a time. Well, The first list of critical updates
downloaded and installed. Then I was promted to restart. After I restarted
2 of the computer will no longer boot. One gets to the loading screen and
then restarts again and again. the other asks for a bios password takes it
and then right before it starts loading windows it blue screens faster than i
can read and reboots. I really need to get these computers up and running.
Usually I would fix the problem in safe mode, but I can't even get to that
and reinstalling windows isn't an option. There are files on the computer
that need to be saved. Thank you for any help.
