Windows Update not updating

Hi all,

I have a Windows Xp Pro AD client w/SP2, conected to internet using a campus
proxy server. Since I don't know when, I am not able to update in my PC but
others in my network still do it, with the same configuration. The
windowsupdate reports that it can't finish the update, the files are not
downloaded and generates an event to system log with event id 16.

How can I resolve this?
